Movie Tuesday: While in Chicago I also thought the river was already green as Fugitive exclaimed
My family won a trip to stay downtown Chicago for the Big 10 basketball tournament. During our trip we were going to check out the Ol’ St. Patrick’s Chicago tradition of dying the river green. Immediately I became confused cause I thought the river was already in some form of the green.
When they did dye it, it was a spectacle. I was somewhat shocked.
This quote from Fugitive is somewhat seldom when (I believe) Harrison Ford says it. One would think it would be said in a joking fashion but the tone of the movie did not serve as so.

Pro Wrestling Thursday: NJPW News - Nakamura goes to Mexico while the Jrs stay to play
It’s commonly known that NJPW and CMLL have a pretty open relationship. Just happy that Shinsuke is going to keep active by spending his time by there while the Jr heavyweights take the air. I’m pretty interest in seeing how Shinsuke works with the lucha. Sure he does a bunch of springboard moves but I’m more interested in his stiff style and how that would work in cause the only move they’re really stiff with in CMLL is chop.
I like Togi Makabe but this should be an easy win for Okada that’s just there to build up the prestige of his reign.
Wasn’t happy about how TenKoji took the belts. The 4 way tag match was such a mess. Really bad way to end a young heel team’s reign. Taking the belts off the champs in a multi contender match should be a heel gimmick not a vetaran face one. Actually would’ve been fine if CHAOS took the belts since they had a lot of momentum for their Road matches. Killer Elite Squad deserved better and now they look like garbage for Suzuki-Gun.  The team could at least get a regular tag team match. I feel like DH Smith or Archer are leaving so NJPW is trying to find another opportunity to get another rivalry going.
Kind of hoping Shibata/Goto would get a stipulation for their match so it doesn’t end the same way but it still should be a good contest.
Naito/Takahashi should be pretty good. Easily Naito is going to get the win but I can see Yujiro pulling off some nasty tactics to get his way.

[NJPW News] New Japan announced matches for the next big iPPV on June 22nd and Shinsuke Nakamura heads to CMLL.First up, Nakamura will be heading to compete in CMLL while the BOSJ XX is taking prominence during this next tour. He will be heading to Mexico next week on May 11th and will remain there for the next month until June 12th.Then New Japan officially announced 4 matches for the upcoming DOMINION iPPV on June 22nd.Okada pulled out his first successful defense against Minoru Suzuki this past weekend and already has his next challenger to be against Togi Makabe. Okada previously faced Makabe in last years G1 Climax, which saw Okada victorious, and this match is poised to be a revenge match for Makabe.Following the 4WAY IWGP Tag Championship match on 5.3, TenKoji have once again emerged as the champions. This definitely was not the way that the former champions in “K.E.S.” (Archer & Smith) wanted to have it settled as they were not even involved in the finish in anyway. You have to know that K.E.S. will be looking to reclaim their lost belts, but with yet another multi-team match that leaves a whole other dynamic to the match.Due to the double knochout finish from the 5.3 show, New Japan has once again placed Goto and Shibata in a single confrontation at DOMINION 6.22. Nothing was settled between the two in the last match and could this next showdown be yet a replay of this last bout, or will someone finally be standing in the end?Lastly, Tetsuya Naito announced his return to the ring on 5.3 to be on June 22nd. Naito has spent the last 7-8 months sidelined due to a knee injury and will be going against his former tag team partner and current rival in Yujiro Takahashi. Their last meeting saw Yujiro blatantly attack Naito’s knee and that lead to Naito being forced out to undergo surgery on his knee. Will Naito be able to exact some much needed revenge or will his time away from the ring prove to be too much against “Mr. R Rated”?~ Be sure to check out the link below for the information regarding the BOSJ XX which begins later this month.http://wp.me/p1NzQs-3NMBelow is the announced card at this time for the DOMINION 6.22 show.New Japan Pro Wrestling “DOMINION 6.22”, 6/22/2013 [Sat] 17:00 Osaka BODY MAKER COLOSSEUM (Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium)(-) Tetsuya Naito’s Return Match: Tetsuya Naito vs. Yujiro Takahashi(-) Special Single Match: Hirooki Goto vs. Katsuyori Shibata(-) IWGP Tag Championship 3WAY Match: [62nd Champions] Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima vs. [Challengers] Toru Yano & Takashi Iizuka vs. [Challengers] Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.~ 1st title defense.(-) IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match: [59th Champion] Kazuchika Okada vs. [Challenger] Togi Makabe~ 2nd title defense.

Anything Wednesday: The Jenga circle apartments on a moat

It so unique how the windows go in and out. The building doesn’t particularly have gorgeous look but with the way it stands out with it’s simple and traditional nature is so cool.  Would like to live in there just to feel like I’m part of the jenga pieces although I’m sure that would go away in just a couple weeks like it should usually doing after being adjust to a place of living.

wacky-thoughts:

modernizing:

Tietgen Dormitory designed by Danish architects Lundgaard & Tranberg in 2006. The design has won it a RIBA European Award.

The building has a conspicuous circular shape, inspired by traditional southern Chinese Hakka architecture.

Tietgenkollegiet is a student residence built in new district Ørestad close to the centre of Copenhagen.

Wow, Amazing.

Television Tuesday: The anti-nonsense policy in Office actually cause a bit of nonsense
Don’t get me wrong it was great and I’m pretty sure despite the level of nonsense needed to make it happen it was pretty successful. Having such a policy seems a bit extreme but with the clownish nature folks bring to that Office a lockdown is completely needed. Actually pretty smart of Dwight to bring in the king of nonsense to stop the nonsense. He seems to be actually having fun with it so that can be his own prank in Jim’s own head.
Before Jim was just annoying in his subordinate ways. Like a little kid who is jealous. Not sure why Jim thought there should be no boss before but both characters have matured a tad since than making this situation easier. Dwight probably wouldn’t have been as bad of a boss as everyone feared if Jim wasn’t always acting a fool.

Glen Keane on Aladdin’s model.

Animation Sunday: Process of choosing the Aladdin model

This seems to become much more complicated than one would think when inventing these characters. I would expect the illustrator just to draw up a scale of who they imagine Aladdin would appear as and if the producers like it they’d nod their head. Scripts are usually pretty detailed on what traits they want for the character to have. Of course it’s up to the director and friends if they want to follow. Probably just asked for different versions in case something else pops up.

The skinny one may have been more fitting but would’ve shown he was a bad thief and just depressing to look at.

Anything Wednesday: Why you should be happy with one dog!
The innocence of a puppy/dog quickly gets lost when there’s two of them. It isn’t no Lady and the Tramp, where you give the two dogs spaghetti can they find a cute way to eat it. No, dog. They going to slobber that crap all over and than five seconds later when they get bored they’ll get on it doggy style.
Horrifying for children to see. Sure this may sound pretentious since it’s natural and all but no one gets dogs to watch them do it. I’m a big dog person but when I came to my family home to see we have three, it just felt like too much. The situation is a bit tough cause there’s no way to give the appropriate divided attention if one’s busy
The pic is pretty classic. Poor child. The dog on the bottom seems either sad or bored. Of course the one on top seems pretty contempt. Didn’t know puppies could go at it. Not an expert at breeding but I thought they had to be a bit older but maybe for the picture’s sake they’re just going through the motions they were setup in.

Sports Saturday:  Cool desktop of Wild rookie, Mikael Granlund
We still have yet to see what this young Finnish center can do in the NHL full time but his career in the International leagues shows potential.  He’s already played with Mikko Koivu so there’s an advantage there when he gets called up. He got to play half the season so that is a bit experience can help him in the long term as the Wild is a grass roots team. The few times he did get a goal it’s a huge deal. Can see him being the future if he can tweak a few things in his development on the Aroes especially his aggression and focus.

Pro Wrestling Thursday: Despite CZW not being the best environment, it gives women the chance to be equals

I’m not really a fan of CZW but this is cool to see. The only reason I know of Von Eerie is cause she joined DGUSA’s version of Mad Blanky. Didn’t really see how that panned out but with her hairstyle it seemed pretty fitting.

I did see Masada defend his belt on a CZW show. It was probably the 2nd best match of the show. Actually seen more of his matches in BJW, which I believe I liked better. He’s not the most athletic guy but he’s a heck of a worker that can put together a good story. Would imagine he could even do it without the garbage wrestling but that’s his thing now.

Haven’t actually seen this match but it looks seriously intense from the different gifs. Masada isn’t holding back one bit but that doesn’t mean it’s a squash. Christina knows how to organize and her agile moveset also puts the CZW champ in a world of pain also. Pretty neat the girls get a chance like this. Although, it’s brutal seeing the women get put through such travesties, it shows they’re ready for whatever the mad world of garbage wrestling hands out.
